One address
The desk reads one mailbox: contact@compmngr.com. A correction, a rulebook reference, a competing deadline or a question about the paperwork of an event all belong there.
What to send
A correction. Name the entry, quote the sentence that is wrong and give the document that shows it: a rulebook clause, a published heat list, a results sheet, a dated notice to competitors.
A source. If a federation, an organiser or a scrutineer publishes a document an entry should have read, send the citation with the date of publication. The desk adds the sources it can read itself.
A question about a desk. How a closing date is set, how a callback is announced, what a season archive should hold: questions that name the competition, the date and the documents in hand get the most useful answer.
What happens next
Every message is read in the order it arrives. A correction that can be verified is applied to the entry and the entry's date is updated. Answers to questions may be worked into an entry when the material is general enough to help other organisers.
